Hierarchical manipulation via subgoal synthesis with image-editing diffusion models. Finetunes InstructPix2Pix on robot video to generate visual subgoals from language commands. Low-level goal-conditioned diffusion policy executes toward each subgoal. Leverages Internet-scale visual pretraining for zero-shot generalization.
